Teaser in the Mensa: A solution

As last year, you can find a teasing demo puzzle lying on tables in the Mensa. This time it was very artistic, especially if you had lamb meet for your lunch. Longing for a solution?

There are 7 hills in this landscape picture. The hills seem to be uniquely ordered from the front to the back by their maximum height. Each hill contains between one and four sheep and some wolves. However, there is also a hill without a wolf. The number of the sheep together with the fact that they are nearly in a horizontal line might suggest to use the Morse code on the sheep. But how to choose what a "." and a "-" is?

A small hint is given: a sheep looking at a wolf cries "baa aa!" in fear, whereas - as one knows from nursery school - other sheep do just boring "baa" while eating their grass. Thus, the sheep directly seeing any wolf on their hill represent dashes and the rest stand for dots. This gives us ...- / .. / -.-. / - / --- / .-. / -.-- , which means VICTORY.

It's not just a puzzle, it's also (and mainly) an advertisement:).

I should have attended a nursery school to solve this puzzle :)
